Warner Town Hall: Management sounds shell shocked about the Paramount deal. Do they really want to sell?
CNN's Minnesota coverage gets a shout-out.
For guys who just made a dream deal to sell their company for an ungodly sum that will make them rich beyond their wildest dreams, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels sounded downbeat at the sudden outcome that they are being swallowed whole by Paramount Skydance.
Speaking to staff mid-morning on Friday in a Town Hall, Zaslav went out of his way to praise CNN and the network’s coverage of Minnesota, presumably referencing the coverage of the shooting deaths of two ICE protestors, Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
