Brilliant ... i do LOVE this idea of 'shaming' ... could even be far more widely applied !

I'd still love to shame the Tisch family for what their ancestor Larry did to CBS back in 1987.

(Some of us have verrreee long memories)... ;-(

But bravo, Claire !

It's so sad when staff pay out of pocket expenses for companies only to see their cash appropriated. Who knows if they'll ever get it back. Some are still hopeful they will as the court moves things along. Also some people know no shame.

Truly....when I was editor & publisher of World Policy Journal, I often had to pay contributors out of my own pocket as the parent World Policy Institute was penniless. When we 'parted ways,' the chmn, Joe Carey (indicted in the Blagojovich scandal in Illinois, btw!), never repaid me a dime. Not only that, Michele Wucker, the president of the WPI, pilfered funds withheld from our paychecks that was supposed to be paid to the IRS, never turned it over to the governnment, and WE had to pay it out ourselves years later with penalty & interest. Talk about a scam !

Not be too harsh, but only a rookie would pay baggage fees for camera equipment out of his/her pocket. No company credit card? Who made the plane reservations without adding in the sticks, the camera, etc.?
